Christmas Eve Meetings for Worship

Our tradition of gathering together for a Christmas Eve worship service continues this year on December 24 at 7 pm. We have a new twist this year and will be offering two concurrent options. (They will not be linked with each other through technology). We hope you, your family, and friends will join one of these beloved, yet relaxed, Meetings for Worship where we pause to breathe in the full spirit of the holidays.  All ages are welcome.

  1. On-line on Zoom
  2. In person – indoors, masks required. For planning purposes, please contact Nan E. at info@annapolisfriends.org asap if you are planning to attend in person.

For more information, contact Ministry and Worship at ministry@annapolisfriends.org.

Film Screening & Discussion

Join AFM Friend, Martin Krafft, on Thursday, January 13 at 8 pm (and 2nd Thursdays each month) for his first monthly in-progress screening of the documentary he is making, TERMINAL. He envisions the film as an opportunity for community-building and is offering these monthly gatherings as an opportunity for others to view footage and share about the themes emerging, using a hybridized Quaker worship-sharing format.  In sharing a link to the trailer, Martin expressed appreciation for any and all forms of support from this community.

For more information about the screenings or how to support Martin, contact him at harpo_lives@hotmail.com.

5th Night Light – Every Thursday evening

Every Thursday from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm, the AFM community engages in a spiritual practice that acknowledges the Light of God within each person and reinforces that to be in community is to actively care for one another. During this time, Friends hold people and situations who need additional spiritual support in the Light. Friends will pause wherever they may be, read the list of names, and hold each person or situation in our hearts and in the Light. On Wednesday, the list of names or situations are sent out to the AFM-Announce list.
