The Meeting for Learning (MfL) for December 12, 2021 at 9:15 am will be Sacred Chant & Dance. The MfL will be held in-person at the meetinghouse unless the weather is too windy or rainy. Then, the MfL will be held on Zoom.
Dancing in a circle is one of the oldest ways in which people celebrate community and togetherness. It is open to everyone and no experience is necessary. Life is a circle of birth, death, and resurrection, and always enveloped in God’s love. “We are a circle within a Circle with no beginning and never-ending.”
All are warmly invited to join our circle of Sacred Chant & Dance. You may participate sitting in a chair or standing, singing and/or playing a drum or shaker, etc. This is a spiritual practice which I hope will also be relaxing and fun for you. We will either be outside the meetinghouse or in “Zoom-landia,” depending on the weather. Keep a lookout for an email on the “Announce” list closer to the date to learn more about the location. Come with a drum or shaker and your requests if you have a favorite chant.
