When Steve Chase came to Annapolis Friends Meeting on September 17 at the request of Chesapeake Quarterly Meeting and presented photos and information about his trip with the Quaker Delegation we learned about the Ramallah Friends School in Palestine and how the school was started in 1869. His talk was called “Reflections on a Quaker Delegation to Israel/Palestine by Steve Chase” and many of us were entralled with the information he provided, especially about the Ramallah Friends School.
More recently, the news provided information about a shooting in Vermont and how three men from the Ramallah Friends School were injured. Ann R. distributed on the AFM-Dicuss list the Friends United Meeting (FUM) FUM Weekly e-News which contained an article that might be of interest to a wider group related to the three recent graduates from Ramallah Friends School who were shot in VT. The following is a portion of the FUM newsletter.
