Young Friends attending First Day School are learning about Quaker Testimonies this year. Learning about the Peace Testimony included discussions and children's books about refugees. The Young Friends are embroidering their view of a child who is a refugee on a muslin panel. Their work will become part of the 25 Million Stitches Project, an art installation with contributors from around the world. Each stitch sewn represents one of the 25 million refugees world-wide.
